You are a computer whiz and you’d like this to be your bread and butter. What can you do? How can you start to make this happen? And how can a 5 x 7 postcard help you in the process?

During these dire times, everyone should capitalize on their areas of expertise to earn extra cash. And if you have decided to take on this venture, you must treat it like your usual business. You must act accordingly in order to push forward your goals and objectives. You must spread the word about you, may it be through a website or a 5 x 7 postcard. The important thing here is that you have to take calculated steps, you must plan and implement things right to make things happen.

Here are some tips to help you start with the venture.

1. Look around you. Who are the people in your neighborhood? Do you know most of them? Do they know anything about your expertise? You can set your eyes on them for starters. You can set them as your target market.

The next thing that you have to do then is to gauge and understand this target market better. You must know who among the group own a PC. Dig further and see the pattern how often they usually encounter problems with their computers. You must also look into the usual factors that come into play with regards to the situation.

2. List all things that you can do when people opt to avail your service. What are you good at? Where did you learn all those? What is the guarantee that you can give to potential clients with regards to the service that you can offer to them? How fast can you deliver such service? And how much are you going to charge per transaction? All these will matter when you are about to start on your marketing ploys.

3. How do you plan to advertise your service? Having a small prospect for your target market at first will help you to be able to direct your marketing ploys. And you can be as creative as possible. Having only few names on the list will help you to be more personal in the manner that you approach each of them.

You can try out various materials to proceed with your marketing plans. But whatever you do, make sure that you address your prospects’ concerns and you are able to capture not only their attention but their interests as well.

4. Even if this will only be a home based set-up, you still must appear professional in the eyes of your clients. Decide on your business name, logo and list all your contact information. This way, all your materials, including your web page, if you decide to create one, will contain same information. This will help your prospects to easily remember such details that are pertinent for you to succeed in your venture.

Start sending out 5 x 7 postcard through direct mail or by handing it out to the people in your neighborhood once you had the material processed. Start the ball rolling to make sure that your business will grow in a matter of time.

I have a cousin who detests revealing clothing on people and often remarks, “If you have a good figure, people will notice without having to wear that.” You might think your trade show product is also that noticeable on its own, but with so much competition, you need to dress it up a bit to get noticed. A quality trade show vinyl banner does the trick while looking both attractive and professional. And while your trade show vinyl banner doesn’t have to be as revealing as an inappropriate outfit, it does reveal the best in what you have to offer with your product.
By now you’ve probably read one or more of the jillion articles being published on the subject of how and why you should market in a recession. But, let’s face it. Marketing in a recession is not right for all companies. Recessions scare a lot of people into reducing their marketing efforts, but for many companies recessions are a great opportunity to expand. Read this article to learn if yours is one of those companies.
The news stations continue to report a decline in consumer spending. With job losses up, the housing market down and Wall Street on a roller coaster ride, it’s no surprise that consumers have a tight grip on their wallets. While people are still spending, businesses and consumers alike are looking for the best bargains they can find. Surprisingly, that big bargain might just come in a very small package: lapel pins.
It is only normal for people to feel tired about what they see around them. And the solution that they easily come up with is to redecorate and change how things look so that they will feel good about what they are seeing. This is also true with business cards. This handy tool must be redesigned from time to time. This way, the owner will feel proud about the look of the card as they pass it around for whatever purposes it may serve.
Like all segments of the U.S. residential building materials market, production of rigid PVC fence and decking products is down from last year’s level. But they have not declined nearly as much as other PVC building products, such as pipe, siding, and window profiles.
My guess is that when you first sat down before your company opened up you spent a lot of time figuring out who you were going to appeal to. These were the customers you thought you would have the best chance at attracting. Those first few marketing campaigns were completely focused around this group of people. When you got postcard printing done you did it with them in mind and when you put up posters you were always considering the best locations to reach your core base of customers.
Promotional products are still one of the most effective marketing and communication tools a company can make use of. As they remain the most efficient and entertaining way to express clients our gratitude and reinforce relations between our employees, promotional products have come a long way and do not longer constitute ordinary branded pencils or stickers with the company logo.
