It took me two years before I discovered that there is a treatment for tinnitus. Yes I am a tinnitus sufferer and for two years I suffered with the noisy ringing in ears that I have. My mind was conditioned that there was no hope for my tinnitus. Frankly speaking, I was beginning to lose hope. I feel helpless every time I feel I cannot control the noise in my ears.

It was a fortunate day when I was reacquainted with one of my old college friends. The day I bumped into her is indelibly etched in my mind because I received very useful and important advice from her that day. I told her about the problems I was having with my tinnitus and received very good news in return.

As it happened, her husband also suffered from tinnitus, but he was not absolutely miserable like I was. She told me about the treatment for tinnitus that her husband used, and I was amazed at how high her husband's quality of life was despite his tinnitus. This never seemed possible to me, but it gave me hope and joy to realize that there were helpful treatments out there for me to use.

I started to make revisions with my diet. I reduced my salt, caffeine and alcohol intake. I have also gradually tried to stop smoking cigarette. Right now I am using Homeopathic Tinnitus Remedies to help me with my tinnitus, as well as tinnitus masking therapy. I am slowly seeing changes with the noise that I hear.

The improvements in my condition are small and gradual, but it gives me hope to actually see that there can be improvement. I used to be depressed because I thought there was nothing that could be done to ameliorate my problem. With these changes, I have self confidence again. My attention has shifted from the condition that made me miserable to productive activities that keep me busy.

I currently eat a much healthier menu. I try and ensure plenty of Vitamins A, B Complex, C, D and E. Such a combination helps keeps me free of disease and limits my amounts of stress. Under circumstances where stress is raised, my symptoms get significantly worse. Therefore, no matter what is going on, I need adequate rest and to eat well.

Now knowing that tinnitus can be treated has greatly reduced my level of stress. With a reduced stress level, I am able to sleep well and not dwell as much on my tinnitus. With increased sleep and lowered stress, my ear ringing and buzzing seems to have decreased as well.
