Ad Blast direct email marketing is still one of the most effective ways to promote your business. There are however a number of rules you must follow so that you do not break the growing number of spam rules and laws being put into place. To do so could get your domain name blacklisted, or worse still, personal lawsuits being brought against you.

The only thing you can really do to ensure neither of those two things happens to you is to only send your emails to people who have agreed to receive them. This is usually in the form of a ‘double opt-in’ email subscriber list.

A double opt-in email list is one in which subscribers have not only signed up to receive your email campaign newsletter, but they have also received an email from you asking them to ‘confirm their subscription’ by clicking a link in that first email. If they do not click on the confirmation link then they are not placed on the subscriber list.

This puts many of the entry level internet marketers somewhere between a rock and a hard place. How do you drive traffic to your website to build up a subscriber list when you don’t have a subscriber list to drive traffic with?

Fortunately there are a number of specialist ad blast email marketing campaign lists which cater to the entry level internet marketers.

In a nutshell, these are ‘private advertising clubs’ in which the members pay to join, then they can email their ads to each other. The beauty is that the members are, in the most part, all part of the same industry. They are also proven ‘spenders' (afterall, they paid to be in the club in the first place).

If you have an in-demand product of interest to the members, the response rates can be fantastic, and conversion rates way above email campaign averages.

Prices for these email campaign membership clubs vary, but are usually good value, running you just a few dollars a month.

One of the services they must provide is to send the emails out from their servers and not yours. This is because despite all the subscribers being double opt-in, a few people either forget they have signed up, or are just plain mean, and report the sender to the spam police. This can in turn lead to a long battle to keep your domain name out of the spam filters.

Having your domain name blacklisted means all of your emails will turn up in the ‘junk’ or ‘bulk’ mail folders of your recipients. This will include your personal contacts as well. The only way around this is to change your domain name and start all over again.

Not much of a choice if you’ve spent some time building up your site and growing your backlinks.

If the service provider uses their own servers to send out the ad blast then this will protect your domain name from the spam filters, despite your domain name being mentioned (and linked) in the email.

Using these services you can send out an ad blast to literally thousands of hungry recipients every day. Beware those which promise hundreds of thousands of recipients, as these claims can rarely be supported.
