 By: Vicky Bonick
If you're trying to invest in the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, it can be critical you read by means of an Asus Eee Pad Transformer evaluation to make sure that this tablet computer system is for you. With so lots of tablet computers available on the market nowadays (in particular the new iPad) it is often difficult to decide which 1 is very best suited for your way of life. The purpose of my Asus Eee Pad Transformer evaluation is to make your purchasing decision less complicated by supplying you with the inside-scoop on the specs and functions of the new Asus Transformer.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Specs and Attributes

The Asus Transformer is an Android three.0 Honeycomb tablet. I can already hear all of you tech geeks available letting out a huge groan. And admittedly, Android tablets thus far have not held up well towards the iPad, as they have been plagued by small bugs or technical "inconsistencies."

However, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer appears to set itself apart from other Android tablets, and truly provides the iPad a critical run for its dollars.

I've not noticed any bugs in the Asus platform, and almost everything seems to run smoothly. I can select an application to run on the screen (which include Angry Birds!), and it starts up proper away. But since we're on the subject of apps, I would like to point out in this Asus Eee Pad Transformer evaluation that the iPad surely beats out the Asus Transformer in terms of number of apps. You will find thousands of Apps out there to iPad users, but not so several for Android users. So regrettably if you are employing the Asus Transformer, you won't have access to oodles of apps.

Surfing the web is usually a breeze. I can flip back and forth between pages effortlessly and can scroll down with out any lag on the screen.

As far as graphics go, the Asus Transformer certainly holds up properly to the iPad. It attributes a 10.1" High Definition screen which makes graphics look added crisp. You could apply cool animated wallpapers which look quite impressive, although surprisingly don't seem to slow down the machine or get in the way. Movies and images look vibrant and clear on the High Definition 1280 x 800 screen.

Subsequent up on my Asus Eee Pad Transformer review: the keyboard function.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Keyboard Attachment

Attaching the keyboard docking station towards the Asus Transformer is as simple as sliding it into the bracket in the best of the keyboard. It gives you a reassuring "click" when it is actually in location, and won't move until you release it. Detaching the tablet from the keyboard is just as straightforward, with a little lever which you slide across to separate the two.

Once the keyboard docking station is attached, you might be essentially seeking at a netbook. The screen may be angled to suit your preferences and can even fold-up in the event you require to relocate. My only gripe is that it appears slightly heavy when connected towards the docking station. You will discover certainly some laptops on the market that are substantially lighter than than the totally connected Asus Transformer, but I suppose this can be a smaller detail.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Review: Final Thoughts

Within the end, the Asus Transformer is actually a fully functional, straightforward to utilize tablet laptop or computer having a number of cool capabilities that rival the iPad. The docking station attaches readily and makes this tablet useful for people that want the functionality of each a tablet and a netbook.
