No one can deny the fact that files are the most important asset on your computer. You may use a variety of files, such as system files, picture files, music files, and other files you wrote as well, therefore, it seems logical to think that files are the most essential aspect of the computer. Especially, those office files you built, like excel forms, are very important to your work and life, once those office files are deleted or damaged, you have to face the trouble you couldn't work one day, or even several days, because they aren't like normal files or other files which can be downloaded on the internet. Unfortunately, it's not safe to save your files into the internal hard drive, those files would be canceled or damaged because of all kinds of factors, such like the hard disk fails, files are accidentally erased, or the computer is hit with a virus, and so on. So you need to be very concerned about the safety of files.

Normally, you could backup your files to ensure the files usable, that is to backup or duplicate your files and save them in different places in case you still can use them once the files are deleted or destroyed. By using backup, you can create a duplicate copy of all the files on your hard disk and then archive it on another storage device, such as an external hard disk or a tape. Under windows, you can use the windows explore to copy files to other disk, or burn files on a cd. The operation is so easy, but to backup the files isn't one time operation, you should backup the files renewedly when you edit the old files or create the new files, then you need to backup them at once after files are modified.

Absolutely, it's not a pleasant process to backup the files manually by using the windows explore, in particular, there're many files under several folders which need to be backed up. As a result, you may make mistake because of a lot of operation processes. Under this case, you could use a professional program to help you do this. By combining with its schedule, you can automatically complete the files backup.

By using the professional program named Macro Expert to backup your files, you need to build a macro by choosing files action, and schedule the rule for it. Of course, make sure the backup files you want are not destroyed, then you can follow the instruction step by step.
