Isn't the face the most important part of your body? People are identified and recognized by their faces. Our face makes a big part of our individuality. When we get older, often the first signs of aging can be seen in our face. The face is important to us but a face lift surgery is a frightening idea for most people. What if something goes wrong?

Even when the face lift is totally successful, you may still feel strange with your new look. It's not unusual that you look ten years younger or even more. But every surgical facelift changes the look of the face in some way, there is no way around it. That's why people would rather prefer non surgical face lifts before they decide for a surgery.

There are several different ways of less invasive face lift. One is called thermage and it uses the radio frequency energy to manipulate the collagen of your skin. It helps the skin to reorganize the collagen and the skin is tighter and therefore looks younger. Thermage works best for people in the age of 30 to 40 but not that well for older skin. Ideally you start using a thermage when you see the first signs of aging.

The second option would be a laser face lift. It works similar to the radio frequency method. The laser can change the way the outer skin layers look. The heat of the laser light heats the collagen. Again, the skin becomes more tight and you can see immediate results. The best effects can be achieved when you repeat the treatment three times within a couple of months. The younger your skin is, the better it works.

Another no invasive treatment option is the microcurrent or bio-ultimate facelift. During this treatment the skin gets stimulated by electric currents. It helps the skin to produce collagen and to strengthen the muscles of the face. Beside of that there are several face lift creams which contain amino acids that help to reduce fine lines by tightening the skin.

The thread face lift is your last option. It comes near to a surgery though but it has very good results. The cosmetic surgeon needs to make very small incisions. During the procedure which usually lasts one or two hours, he uses very thin threads to tighten the skin. You have immediate results which cost you just about the half of a traditional face lift.
