There are promotional products that big and small, which are suitable for certain, companies. It does not necessarily follow that bigger would always be better. You would have to carefully take the size into consideration so that you would be a valuable investment.

Probably the biggest benefit from using the larger promotional products would be the overall impact they would be making. For instance, if you have set up a booth at a fair or convention, the tendency is that the larger products you are using for promotion would be more desired by the attendees. As more customers are attracted to your table, it could be your chance to deliver a sales pitch. If you decide to go for the larger promotional products, you will be sure that they would not be easily lost or misplaced. As people leave the fair or convention, they would usually carry bags of promotional products and unless your promotional product is very visible or would be of great use to them, it is very likely that it would end up getting tossed. Making your promotional product big in size would make the recipients recall your company or products.

Another thing to take into consideration would be the cost. Obviously, bigger promotional products would be more expensive so you might go for smaller promotional products if you would be ordering in bulk. However, for the more high-end clients, business associates and employees during the holidays, larger promotional products might be able to more effectively express your appreciation and concern for them. There are even some cases that larger products are cheaper but are still able to be effective advertising tools.

As you consider the size of the promotional products you would be ordering, you would also need to think of their storage and shipping as well. The larger items would usually weigh, though this is not always true, and you could end up paying a bit higher for the shipping. Before you confirm the order you have placed, try to consult with the sales representative of the company you are ordering from to get the quote for shipping. Once nit arrives, make sure that you would have an area or room where you would be storing the products. You could just store them in the shipping boxes until you are ready to distribute them. However, this is not always a good idea. In any case, you would need a bigger storage area for bigger promotional products, so if you only have a small space available for storage, it might be more advisable to go for smaller promotional products that could be just as effective.
