Most blogs on the internet will usually be comprised of the following components:

- Blog Title (Top Of Page)
- Blog Posts (Main Body)
- Outgoing Links / Internal Links / Advertisements (Sidebars)
- Blog Footer (Bottom Of Page)

The one component of your blog which determines how unique your blog content is are your blog posts. The way in which you compose your posts will go a long way in determining how successful your blog will be. It is more than likely that there are others out there who are blogging about the same subject as you, and so in order to win over your readers loyalty, it’s important that your blog content is both relevant and unique. This also raises another point:

Is your blog content truly your own?

For example, if I publish a blog post about how to use StumbleUpon, it’s probably safe to assume that there are many other bloggers out there who have written about the exact same subject. So how do I make sure that my post about StumbleUpon is unique, so that I can’t be accused of imitating someone else’s work?

Well, in my opinion, when you are writing blog content for your readers to take useful information from, you must have knowledge of the subject at hand in the first place! This may seem like a fairly obvious statement, but one which is worth stating nonetheless. It would be the easiest thing in the world for me (or anyone else) to surf the net and look for interesting articles or posts which I could copy and pass off as my own work, without having gained any prior knowledge of the subject.

So let’s look again at the StumbleUpon example. I have been using it for a while now on my own computer, and feel I have gained enough knowledge through experience to be able to publish a blog post on the subject, drawing upon my own experience. I’d have no need to look at what others are writing on the subject. The vast majority of the time, this would ensure that my blog content for that particular post would be unique.

Taking this a step further, if your blog content is unique, then it also has to be engaging for the reader. This will ensure that your readers will use your blog for information that is widely available on the internet. If you can develop a fluid writing style which readers enjoy, then you’ve taken a major step towards building an audience.

Of course, it’s also important to publish blog content which no-one else is writing about. This helps to build your ‘blog personality’, and will make your blog stand out from others.

So don’t be afraid to write about a subject within your blog that many others are also writing about. There are millions upon millions of blogs out there, it’s inevitable that someone will already have written about the same subject. As long as your blog content is unique to your blog, and you are drawing from your own experience within the subject matter, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

Blogs have really taken the world by storm, creating a huge online content network, building journalism and writing careers for thousands of successful bloggers, and swiftly changing industries such as print journalism and book publishing. With the massive success of many blogs, and the large scale industry and world changes that have happened as a result of their development and influence, it is high time for everybody that genuinely has a voice to create a blog and keep it regularly.
By now I'm sure you know quite a bit about blogging, unless you've lived under a rock for the past few years. Nearly everybody has a blog these days, most just for fun but many to see if they can make a few dollars online with them. Or, at least get some attention! Well I'm here to tell you it isn't really easy to make money with a blog, but it certainly can be done.
I know the word blogging itself can sound a little odd, especially if this is your first time hearing it. You might even be confused as to why people seem so crazy about blogging. But what is blogging anyway, and why are many getting addicted to it?
People have always looked for a good way to communicate, and through time the most important advances have always been better ways for people to talk to each other. Today there are dozens of different ways for people to get in touch with each other, but the internet is king for talking with many people at once.
Nowadays, everyone from celebrities to regular people are blogging like there’s no tomorrow. But if you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’d be glad to explain blogging to you! Fear not. You don’t need any special skills on computers or social media to understand blogging.
It’s easy to make money blogging. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a 9-to-5 worker or a full-time housewife. It doesn’t even matter whether you’re still in school or a dropout. As long as you have decent writing skills and access to the Internet, there’s no end to the cash-making possibilities.
You can make fast money online even when you can't write by outsourcing the writing to someone. A 500-word article will cost you about US$4. You can set a budget of US$50 a month for nine to 10 articles and this will last you about four weeks as you just need to post one article every three days on your blog. For topics, you can go to other bloggers and see what they write. Get ideas but don't copy their content!
