Creating A Blog Network For Traffic And Money

Keeping your blog up to date by regularly publishing new posts is a fairly time-consuming process. So I’ve been amazed (and hugely impressed) by reading about different bloggers who maintain more than one blog, from 2 or 3 blogs up to 7 or 8 blogs, or more! Wow! I mean, I tip my hat to anyone who can maintain a number of blogs, while at the same time keeping the blog content at a high standard!

So creating a blog network - is it for you? Well, I suppose it depends on many factors, including things like time constraints, your various interests, motivation etc etc. If you have a passion for different things, and you have the time, then by all means go ahead and start multi-blogging! With blog providers like Blogger, where your blog is created free of charge, there’s certainly no monetary limit to the number of blogs you can create.

Possible advantages to creating a blog network include:

- The power of numbers, i.e. the more blogs you have, the greater your total traffic will be, which is great if you’re planning to monetize your blogs;

- A greater overall presence within the blogging community;

- An opportunity to voice your opinions and ideas about different subjects;

- A higher chance of getting indexed by the search engines, by creating links between your blogs;

Possible disadvantages of creating a blog network include:

- Time constraints, i.e. you’ll need a lot more time to develop each and every blog;

- Blog dilution, if you’re writing content for several blogs, there’s a chance that your standards of posts will drop as you’ve less time to devote to each blog;

Also, the way I see it, there’s two different ways to create a blog network:

Linear Approach: Create your blog network one at a time, i.e. once your first blog has developed and matured (and requires less maintenance) then create a second blog and develop that one etc etc...

Non-Linear Approach: Create multiple blogs from scratch at the same time, and ‘rotate’ your blog posting between them, and build your blogs simultaneously.

Since I only have one blog at the moment, I have no experience of the different approaches above to creating blog networks. My gut feeling would be to go with the linear approach, as I think I would fare better if I was concentrating on one blog at a time. However, you may feel that the non-linear approach would suit you better, as I’ve said before, it’s completely down to the individual.

Whether or not to multi-blog is very much down to the individual. If you have varying interests, and feel you have something to say on different topics, then go for it!

Blogs have really taken the world by storm, creating a huge online content network, building journalism and writing careers for thousands of successful bloggers, and swiftly changing industries such as print journalism and book publishing. With the massive success of many blogs, and the large scale industry and world changes that have happened as a result of their development and influence, it is high time for everybody that genuinely has a voice to create a blog and keep it regularly.
By now I'm sure you know quite a bit about blogging, unless you've lived under a rock for the past few years. Nearly everybody has a blog these days, most just for fun but many to see if they can make a few dollars online with them. Or, at least get some attention! Well I'm here to tell you it isn't really easy to make money with a blog, but it certainly can be done.
I know the word blogging itself can sound a little odd, especially if this is your first time hearing it. You might even be confused as to why people seem so crazy about blogging. But what is blogging anyway, and why are many getting addicted to it?
People have always looked for a good way to communicate, and through time the most important advances have always been better ways for people to talk to each other. Today there are dozens of different ways for people to get in touch with each other, but the internet is king for talking with many people at once.
Nowadays, everyone from celebrities to regular people are blogging like there’s no tomorrow. But if you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’d be glad to explain blogging to you! Fear not. You don’t need any special skills on computers or social media to understand blogging.
It’s easy to make money blogging. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a 9-to-5 worker or a full-time housewife. It doesn’t even matter whether you’re still in school or a dropout. As long as you have decent writing skills and access to the Internet, there’s no end to the cash-making possibilities.
You can make fast money online even when you can't write by outsourcing the writing to someone. A 500-word article will cost you about US$4. You can set a budget of US$50 a month for nine to 10 articles and this will last you about four weeks as you just need to post one article every three days on your blog. For topics, you can go to other bloggers and see what they write. Get ideas but don't copy their content!
