In order to avoid getting fooled by advertisements and to derive maximum benefits from a particular cosmetic product; we must research: the key ingredients used to make that product, and the effects of these products. Since, in late thirties and early forties you end up spending a substantial sum on anti aging skin care to fight wrinkling of skin, it is imperative that you study the effects of wrinkle creams.

A leading New York daily published a report on wrinkle creams. A team of medical researchers conveyed their views on the ability of wrinkle creams to remove age spots. You are aware that women get brown age spots on their skin soon after the menopause. The researchers advised to use a good quality wrinkle cream at least twice a day to get desired results on removing such spots.

One of the good effects of wrinkle creams is it reduces the number of sunspots. The ozone layer is damaged due to the increasing air pollution in this modern world. Therefore, our skin is exposed to more ultra violet rays, which create sunspots. These wrinkle creams do reduce sunspots.

It is good to note that anti aging creams do make your skin firmer. Sometimes we due to age your skin may loosen up without wrinkling. You can find this out by doing a pinch test. As these creams make your skin firm, you will look younger as before.

There are poles on your skin, which help the oxygen to enter and to expel the unwanted debris such as dead skin cells and extra sebum. If these pores are blocked your skin will look very dull. Another effect of wrinkle cream is that it clears these pores.

Liver spots are brown blotches on the face, neck and hands; that look really bad. These spots are formed due to prolonged exposure to sun. Removal of liver spots is cited as one of the effects of wrinkle creams. However, no conclusive evidence has been found to substantiate this claim.

Some creams contain higher doses of antioxidants. These antioxidants rejuvenate the skin cells. They provide the skin cells the required nutrition and control the age related skin ailments. Exfoliation, which is assisted by antioxidants, is a good example of the effects of wrinkle creams.

Please make sure that you choose a cream which has proven efficacy. It should come from a manufacturer which has built its reputation by creating quality cosmetics and not tomfoolery that we often come across in advertisements for cosmetic products. Asking for expert advice should never be procrastinated.
