Remember the more time the dye is in your hair, the darker the color. However, keeping the dye in for longer than the product's recommendation could result in severely damaged hair.

Now remove the cotton balls and rinse the dye from your hair until the water runs clear. Apply a good hair conditioner to give your hair the new look. Leave it for sometime. Before rinsing it thoroughly. Finally, dry your hair either naturally by indirect sunlight or with a towel. Avoid a hair dryer as it can damage your hair. Style your hair thereafter as per your choice and liking. Selecting a special post-coloring shampoo will help maintain the color.

Hair color if regulated properly will prevent gray hair from becoming evident. All that is required is a certain level of expertise in selecting the correct product and thereafter, a bit of practice to color your hair in the desired manner.
