The food processor was introduced to the North American market in 1973 by engineer Carl Sontheimer, who spent a year getting a feel for a French industrial blender for the home cook. It took some years for consumers to realize how useful the new appliance could be, but once they did, it became a smash hit. Sontheimer's creation transformed food preparation in home kitchens around the world.

The food processor is one of the most flexible and helpful kitchen appliances. It can help you in many different aspects in your kitchen. It can shred, cut, blend and many more things that you would normally have to do by hand. By simply flipping a switch this machine does it all for you!

For your convenience and needs, modern food processors come in three different sizes. Full size, compact, and mini. No matter what the size they are all of the same make-up. A motor, a bowl with a lid and feed tube, and a set of attachments. Depending on the type of model, some come with different sized bowls to use with the same base.

Common ingredients like cheese and carrots and shredded speedily and efficiently, and in no time at all you can have slices of potatoes and apples sliced with the slicing disc. All you need to do is to push your desired food through the feed tube using the nozzle.

Chopping, grinding and pureeing involve a little additional technique. In a basic processor, the attachments fit over the shaft in the bowl. Standard attachments for a processor are an S-shaped blade and shredding plus slicing discs. The shredding and slicing discs are prepared of metal and sit at the top of the bowl, over the shaft. You push foodstuff down the feed tube and it contacts the disc, at which point it is grated or sliced into the bowl.

If you are using shredding and slicing discs for your food processor, you can get fine, medium, or coarse grinds of food. There are several variations of these discs that you can purchase if they were not previously included with the food processor. Along with all the attachments, like a blender processor, you can always use your own kitchen equipment to convert your processor to a multipurpose tool.

You can also find a particular container to hold all of the attachments in one place, and extra work bowls, which can be handy if you are making numerous things in the food processor and don't want to wash out the bowl between tasks.

Wide area vacuum cleaners have now become a must have tool for commercial cleaners. These vacuums were first introduced in the early eighties and have evolved in to ultimate carpet cleaning machines. In days of old, cleaning large carpeted areas was a tedious and cumbersome task involving worker fatigue and escalated labor rates.
If you're eating more raw foods and making that important lifestyle change, at some point you'll need to consider investing in a juicer. A blender is NOT the same thing. To get all the benefits of juicing fruits and vegetables, you need to be able to process every part of the food - seeds, stems, peels and pulp. That's where all the vitamins are. A blender just can't do that effectively. A juicer will extract all the nutrients from fruit or vegetable that not even your stomach can adequately do.
Wide area vacuum cleaners are a type of vacuum cleaner that can cover large areas in a short amount of time. Wide area vacuums can range in price from $700 to $10000 dollars depending on the size, options and quality of the vacuum cleaner. Wide area vacuums are perfect for facilities such as schools, hotels and conference centers.
My mom has always been a good cook, but as a kid I remember times when she was baking a cake or a delicious pie that she struggled with being precise. This lack of precision usually would bring about a dry or deflated cake or just not even edible cake. Then she would be sad and upset because she could not figure out exactly what she did wrong. She would always come back to the reason of her lacking the skill of being precise when baking. She knew the importance of precision, but could not always achieve it.
Right ya'll here is something that we hear a lot about, the eternal debate about centrifugal juicers over masticating juicers, let me tell you, they are both good and both have their place. True the masticator is better at preserving nutrients and we do try to get people into using them but make no mistake a decent centrifugal is still a good starting point in juicer ownership.
If you want your domestic appliances to last longer and you do not want to buy Hotpoint spares, White Knight spares, Bosch spares or any other brand, you absolutely need to clean them very often. Humidity not only affects your home itself, but also a wide variety of contents. Low humidity is the main cause of static electricity in a home. Dry skin and dry carpets are great for creating the friction required to send sparks from you fingertips into anything you touch. With all the highly sensitive electronics equipement (from stereos and tv's to computers) in homes today, static electricity can be a major threat. It doesn't take much of a spark to harm that expensive piece of electronics.
