Spending time with you family is vital for building healthy relationships with each other. Starting spending time with your kids when they are young will strengthen your relationship, get them physically active, and teach them how to have fun without video games or T.V. The follow are ideas for fun things to do with your kids out doors that don't cost much money; if any at all.

1.Walk quietly "like a fox", and see how close you can get to a rabbit or squirrel.

2.Watch birds and then imitate them, study how birds move differently.
Collect bird feathers and try to find out which type of birds they belong to.

3.Look at different spider webs and see what types of spiders make them. Make your own spider webs at home with cotton gauze.

4.Look for animal signs: tracks, poop, feathers, matted down patches of grass, nibbled plants, scratches in tree bark...

5.Make crayon rubbings of leafs

6.Collect rocks and find out which types they are, and why rocks have different colors.

7.Start a nature art book or scrap book.

8.Make simple bird houses out of milk cartons and watch birds come to eat.

9.Make wind chimes out of things such as sea shells, sticks, etc.

10.Catch smells into jars; such as dirt, grass, sea water and then blind fold each other to see if you can tell what you are smelling. This works good with things you can find in your house too.

11.Go cloud watching

12.Make a treasure map, seal it in a wine bottle and throw it in the river.

13.Play sports

14.Go on adventurous walks

15.Go swimming in a lake

Or in the winter...

1.Go snowshoeing

2.Have a snow ball fight

3.Make a small ice rink in your back yard with water and packed down snow

4.Go tobogganing

5.Build a snow man

6.Build a snow fort

7.Make ice cream the old fashion way

Put 1 cup of milk or cream, 1 cup of sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla in a small coffee can and seal it with tape. Place this coffee can in a larger coffee can and fill it with rock salt. Seal this can with tape as well. Go out side and kick the can around in the snow for twenty minutes to half an hour, open the cans and you will have ice cream! (just make sure no salt gets into the small can)

As you can see there are tons of fun things to do out doors with your kids and family no matter what the weather is. Doing some of these activities can also be fun for parents and remind them of their own childhood. So get dressed and get ready to have a good time.

If you've walked through any town in the midwest recently, you've probably noticed a lot of college aged kids playing a game that resembles the bean bag game you might have remembered as a kid. That game is known as Cornhole and has been sweeping the country for the last few years. The Ohioans lay claim to the popular game, but variations of it have been played as far back as the 18th century.
When you are thinking about astronomy, the first thing that comes to mind is a telescope. This misconception is found every day. Actually, the first thing you need to do is look at the stars with a pair of binoculars. You cam spend hundreds of dollars on a telescope that might not be the right one. One thing that star glazers will tell you is that some of the lunar eclipses and bright comets look better with binoculars than with a high-powered telescope.
For many, the arrival of winter is simply something to suffer through until the warmer months of spring and summer. But for others, cold weather signals a time to dust off the skis, grab the snow gear and head outside. While winter sports like skiing and snowboarding can be intimidating for beginners, especially if they're learning from a friend or family member who's not trained in these sports, package deals and multi-day lift tickets are leading many to rethink giving these snow sports a try.
Taking a camping trip can be extremely fun and adventurous, but only if you are well prepared. That is especially true when it comes to choosing the right sleeping bag for your journey into the woods. If there is one thing you need to have during a good camping trip, it is a comfortable and dry night's sleep, which is something only the right sleeping bag can do for you. When you start to look for just the right type of sleeping bag, you should take into accout why you need it. Your selection will depend largely on whether you are sleeping on the ground, in a cabin, in a cooler climate, or a wetter environment.
When you decide to engage in a weight lifting program at the convenience of your home, it is wise and practical to identify what is the right weight lifting equipment for you. Do not just buy anything without prior planning because buying in impulse is not really recommended.
Originally called Hark Fu Moon or Black Tiger System, Tiger Claw Kung Fu or Fu Jaw Pai was renamed by First Generation Grand Master, Wong Bil Hong in honour of his master, believed to be a Shaolin monk. At the time, there was Manchurian persecution of the Shaolin order so the name of his master was never revealed. Wong Bil Hong was not eager to share the knowledge he had learned and during his lifetime only ever took on two students. One of which was his nephew Wong Moon Toy who began his training in 1927.
Sports injury... it is every athletes' worst nightmare. For professional sportsmen and women, a major injury could be the end of their career. Breaking an ankle, dislocating a shoulder or hip, or having unbearable pain in the knees could cause an athlete to lose the opportunity to gain honor, fame, and fortune in the field of sports. For individuals who engage in contact sports competition, it could be the end of an athletic dream or a means to stay fit. For many, sports is already a way of life and defines who they are. But getting sidetracked by an injury could make them lose their sense of identity and chance of a lifetime to gain glory and financial independence.
