This is very easy, go to GasBuddy.com and simply click on your state. Then there should be links to the major metropolitan areas in your state. Click on the area closes to you and then type in your zip-code. Then a list of gas stations in your zip-code will show up with prices. This site also has graphed trends of gas prices of all states and cities so you can track to see when gas goes up or down.

GasPriceWatch.com gives you a little more detailed search. You can actually enter in an intersection in your city and the site's search engine will find the exact gas station on the corner. This site is different from other gas price sites because they are database driven. If for some reason, you cannot find the station you like to use, you can submit their information and the site will contact them and add them to the database.

While you are at it, make sure you change you oil regularly and keep the proper inflation in your tires. These two things can increase your gas mileage. Also, many auto repair shops and oil change places are now inflating tires with nitrogen. You may ask yourself, why use nitrogen? Nitrogen keeps your tires properly inflated for longer periods of time and prolongs the life of your tire. Regular air has more oxygen, which is destructive and does not hold pressure for a long period of time.

FreecycleFreeclcle.org is a network of nearly 2.5 million members in 310 communities around the world, with those numbers rising rapidly everyday. You can type in your zip code and find your nearest "Free Cycle Post" in you city or town. Then, all you do is search for items you want by category. If you find something you like, you can send the person an e-mail stating you want the item. So instead of throwing out items you no longer need or donating them to organizations that turn around and sell them, you can give it to someone that really needswants the item.
