There are actually very simply ways you can take care of your skin without having to visit a dermatology rancho cucamonga clinic!

The best thing you can do for your skin is to slow down. Spend some time to take care of yourself and build a routine. Eat lots of healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables. Sleep early - that's why they call it "beauty sleep". You need this time to rest so that your skin can regenerate its cells.

If you want to have a radiant looking skin, you will also need to invest on skin care products.

Some of the products you will use daily are:

1. Cleanser. Using soap to cleanse your skin can strip off your skin's natural oils. This prompts the skin to produce more and in time, it causes oily skin. Use a cream or lotion for dry and sensitive skin and gel for oily and acne prone skin.

2. Toner: this is used to hydrate dry and sensitive skin. An astringent is used for acne prone skin.

3. For your face, you can use an eye cream for day time use, and retinol or glycolic creams or lotions for night use.

4. Use a hydrating moisturizer to keep your skin soft. If your skin is oily or acne prone, a moisturizer can prevent your oil glands from sending oil to the surface.

5. Use an exfoliant scrub at least three times a week or more if your skin is oily and prone to acne. Cleansing your pores regularly will help make your skin look smooth and will allow other skin products to work on your skin better!
