Do not call them, or drop by their place. Stay away from them. Make them miss you. If you are in their face too soon and too often, you risk pushing them away.

So you've started all over and approached the whole thing as a new person after giving your ex some time for them to miss you. The next step is to make a very good impression. Remember, your ex will be looking at you for the first time as a whole new person. When you plan to meet up, you need to ensure that you have prepared well. You must be decent-looking, if not very attractive-looking, and have to exude a confident aura. This will really appeal to your ex.
