Keep in mind that in order for you to generate the traffic that you want for your site, you need to be able to establish yourself in the social networking site, so make sure that you create relationships with a lot of its users and members. Since social networking is all about forging relationships, make sure that you build a strong network by making friends. This will prove to be very beneficial to your site since the more friends that you will have, the higher your chances will be of getting people to visit your site, thereby increasing your site's traffic.

The more frequent you communicate with your network of friends, then the stronger your network will become. Don't be afraid to maintain constant communication with them, for who knows, some of them could be your customers in some other time. Make sure that you keep your network strong for your network of friends will help generate the traffic that you need. If you do not show any interest in them, then you can bet that they will not show interest in you as well.

Once you have established a strong social network, then you will be able to increase your site's traffic through the help of your social network. If you have a lot of friends through your social network, then you will have a bigger chance of getting your site visited by other users who may click on your links with your social network.
