Did you know that having a positive attitude not only affects you but also the world around you? How are they connected? How does having a positive attitude affect the world around you?

As you know, having a positive attitude makes you feel good about yourself. Your self esteem and self confidence is also affected in a positive way. Your self thoughts tend to be positive. You feel happy.

But how does your thoughts and attitude affect others and the world around you? By being positive and focused on happy thoughts, your positive outlook tends to attract people to you. People are drawn to you as they enjoy being aroung happy and positive people. These happy, positive people tend to have more friends and are healthier.

Think about it? Would you rather spend time or hang around someone who is always negative? Or would you prefer to hang around someone who is happy and positive?

I know I would rather hang around people who are positive and happy. Hanging around them leaves me with a happy feeling, and then in turn, I am happier and more positive around the people I are with later on.

On the other hand, when I spend time with people who are negative or always complaining, when I leave them, I feel sad, depressed, and emotionally drained.

For instance, I had a friend who was always negative and complaining. There was always something wrong or someone who was mean to her child or treated her child poorly. It was always the •ˇ•§poor me•ˇ•è syndrome. No matter what, it seeemed to her, that everyone was being unfair or mistreating her or her family. After listening to the same things over and over again, not only was I tired of listening to it, I felt emotionally drained. Everytime I spent time with her, I felt sad, depressed, tired, and emotionally drained.

On the other hand, I had another friend who was always positive and complimentary. She was always complimenting me. Do you think I liked spending time and hanging out with her? You bet I did! I always left feeling so uplifted, happy, and full of self confidence and with high self esteem. She made me feel good about myself. The next person that I spent time with, would then feel or see the benefits of how she treated me. I was more helpful, more patient, kind, and more complimentary towards them.

You have probably heard the term, •ˇ•§Pay It Forward•ˇ•è. It is when a person does something nice for someone else, and that person, in turn, does something nice for the next person, and then that person does something nice for an the next person and so on. That is how we affect and make the world around us a better place.

We forget, sometimes, how much the energy, feelings, and attitude we put out there, affects the people around us and also ourselves (our health, self esteem, self confidence, and how we cope with life).

How does projecting a positive attitude impact your health? People who have a positive attitude are usually are better at handling stress and when problems occur are better at handling the situation. They are better at calming down the situation. They also tend to be sick less often. They also have a higher self esteem (or like themselves) and are usually confident people.

So remember that if your attitude is positive, it affects the world around you in a positive way. People feel good being around you and you attract positive people around you. You will have a happier and more confident life.

On the other hand, if you are negative, you, then, you will tend to attract negative people to you. So it is to your advantage to be positive and affect the world in a positive way. So have a positive attitude and live a self confident life. You will make the world around you a better place to live.
