Interested in making an extra $1,100700-$4,000 for literally not doing any work? Simply refer me for any group and if I book the speaking engagement, you'll get paid a commission just for the referral. All you have to do is simply email me the persons contact information after you mentioned it to them. Here are my fees to keep in mind when you here of someone looking for a speaker:

Corporate/Association: $10,000 - $15,000
College: $5,500 - $10,000
Teen: $5,500 - $10,000

Did you catch the marketing strategy here? I know some of you immediately thought, That's stupid to give away all that money for a simple referral. WRONG! Who would you be more willing to recommend as a public speaker, given that you had two who were equal; one who doesn't offer you a referral fee or one who does?

I literally have a sales force of other speakers sending me a constant stream of referrals. Do I book a lot of speaking engagements this way? Not really. However, I do get a few each year through this method which allows me to earn a few extra thousand dollars without having to do any marketing to get the dates...and don't forget that I'll sell products and pick up a few extra thousand dollars...and don't forget that I'll get at least 2-3 audience members minimum who could possibly have me speak for their group...and don't forget that I'll get numerous audience members to sign up after the talk for my Success E-Newsletter so that I can stay in touch with them through email every month. (YOU should be doing this too).

You can make the same offer to other public speakers and create a mini-sales force of other speakers spreading your name. And you don't have to limit it to just public speakers. You can offer the referral fee to anyone who refers you for a speaking engagement.

Does this really work?

There's a speaker, who I think is one of the better public speakers I've ever heard. And, trust me, I've heard all the big name speakers and speakers who are really good who aren't big name speakers. This speaker, Joe Martin, changes my life and helps me as a person each time I listen to him speak or talk with him on the phone. That's why I consider him one of the best...because I'm personally moved each time I hear him...even when it's the same message I've heard him give a hundred times.

(By the way, the famous motivational speaker Zig Ziglar personally called Joe after he had listened to an audio of Joe speaking to tell Joe how inspired he was by what he had heard).

Joe follows this strategy of paying a commission for referrals and I can think of several events that I've referred Joe for over the years. And each time, I've received a hefty commission check in the mail from him. Sure makes me want to refer him more and more...and I do!
