It is becoming a huge issue overweight in children, in America millions of child are suffering from obesity and no one seem to be doing anything about it, we need to educate our child and give the proper guidance.

There are many causes that experts say are the reason for obesity in kids, some say that is genetics, that is an emotional problem, lack of nutrient food or lack of exercise. But what are the facts in all this, lets take a closer look.

Many people dont have ideas that in the last twenty years childhood obesity has doubled, but also in those years media has grown so much that our kids are exposed to more than 40,000 ads a year and thus media has a huge influence in them.

So, who is to blame? we cant say that parents or the media are responsible on their own, its a number of factors that have created an unhealthy lifestyle. But there is a lot that can be done to prevent it.

Now lets see some childhood obesity factors to understand a little bit better how to prevent this problem:

Dont let your child watch too much tv or play many hours of video games, they are wasting too much time doing nothing and sitting without moving eating snacks. This has to change, encourage sports with their friends, at home and in school.

Its important that you buy and cook nutritive food that your child can eat before going to school or in school.

Educate your child, dont let them watch too much media, there are millions spend every year on advertising junk food on tv and everywhere else, your kid will want some of those sugar snacks selling everywhere, make sure that since child they eat good nutritive food so they become more likely to avoid junk food.

Obesity is on the increase at an alarming rate in today's modern society. Millions of people are suffering through being over weight. Obesity means an excessively high proportion of body fat. Overweight refers to an excess of body weight, but not necessarily body fat. Health professionals use a measurement called body mass index (BMI) to classify an adult's weight as healthy, overweight, or obese. BMI describes body weight relative to height and is correlated with total body fat content in most adults. Generally, the higher your BMI, the higher your health risk, and the risk increases even further if your waist size is greater than 40 inches for men or 35 inches for women.
The American nation is in a major health crisis. Our children are facing an early death sentence due to child obesity. It is said that this is the first generation in history where the children are not expected to outlive the parent due to childhood obesity. If that isn't enough of a wake-up call, the thought of your child not getting to experience life to the fullest should be.
