The weekender seat 7, and sleeps 5 and full campers seat 6 (with the optional middle seat) and sleeps 4. Euro van camper was introduced in the year 1993; it was introduced to replace the low powered rear engine, rear drive vanagon camper. In 1997, VW increased the engine size to 140HP, 2.8 liter V6 engine, as well as dual airbags. Euro van camper has 4400 pound towing capacity and a cargo capacity of ½ ton.
