Making Your Website Work Towards A Good Google Rank

 By: Steve B. Smith
If there is one single search engine that you want to appeal to with your website, it is Google. You may be thinking that there are any others right now that can be used but the truth is that more people use Google than any other. If you have a decent page rank on this search engine then your site will surely get looked at, and that is the first step to new business. You have to understand what matters here.

One of the main things that these spiders search for is The sort of written content that is on a website. The reason behind this is that to be a good search engine it is important that the sites that you rank high are good for people to visit. Google isn't the only one that looks for good, well written, and relevant content on a site. They also look to see if the sites that are linked to it are ones that should be and they have something to do with it.

Although it seems impossible to understand the Google algorithms and how it all works, it is plain that they have it all figured out whether or not you are using natural or unnatural links. It knows that natural links signify a better website so it will always give them a higher rating. Natural just means that they go to sites that can actually be helpful to people that need info on the same subject, and they are done manually.

The bones that you have created as the basic structure of your website is something that the search engine spiders will look for. You should have links that go to different pages on your site, rather than just one single page having all the links. This is the best if you have at least one link on each page. It is also important that they can see these links and other parts of your website. Some things like Java, and Flash will block them from seeing and they can't rank what they cant see.

Google is looking for the best websites to give top ranking to. That is why they require good websites with solid content and a good web design. If they are going to give your website attention then they want things like links to be naturally occurring and real. While many companies try to fool the search engine spiders by using embedded or hidden links over time this will work against your website and can damage your online reputation. If there is one search engine that you want to keep on your side it is Google and therefore it is important to take your online marketing seriously.

I did a Google search and came across your site. It was exactly what I was looking for and was elated to find such a broad range of articles. As I am launching a free magazine in a small town in Florida, I wanted to be as resourceful as possible while still being able to provide some content that is interesting and well written. Your site has all the variables in the mix. Excellent Site hitting all the notes in the scale sort of speak.
