Describe a particular situation where your strengths were used in your previous work. Show how these strengths will apply to your future job, so your employer can easily see the benefits in hiring you.

Do your homework before the interview

It always helps to learn a little bit about the company who is thinking about hiring you. This research will also help you to have a better idea of the questions you should ask in the interview and how well you will fit into the organization. You will also have more time to figure out ways to show the person who is interviewing you that you are able to relate to them, the company, and to the job.

Dress appropriately in the interview

This is a basic way to show an employer that you are serious about yourself and your work. Someone who comes to an interview dressed in torn jeans and a t-shirt covered in paint will not make a professional impression on an employer. Putting on a clean shirt and a clean pair of pants will help represent you in the best possible manner.
