As a Process Analytical Technology (PAT) tool, the NIR (Near Infrared) analyser is the next generation technology for analysing solid and liquid chemical and pharmaceutical formulations. The patented design of NIR offers superior analytical performance with increased sensitivity and precise instrument matching to enhance method development, minimize implementation time and ensure seamless method transferability.

NIR analyser can be used throughout your manufacturing processes-from raw material inspection and in process testing to final product release. It is a relatively new technology for refineries to monitor main products, intermediate streams and unit feed. NIR analyser offered a low cost alternative to traditional gas chromatographs or distillation analysers. Unlike Gas Chromatographs, NIR probes are 100% optical, use no electricity and contain no moving parts. Multiple properties can be measured with one analyser head. NIR analyser is ideal to use in laboratories as well as in plant environments.

For pharmaceutical and chemical industries, NIR analysis provides increased economic benefits, improved tests and analysis on the dock, in the lab and on the process line. NIR testing is completely safe and requires no sample preparation. No harmful waste is created since NIR analysis requires no solvents or reagents. It can reduce the cost of routine testing by more than 50% depending on the application.

How to use it

Before testing, place the instrument on a horizontal, hard and stable surface away from sunlight. The warming up period is about 2 hours. The user should ensure that the temperature of the room where the analyser is stored be 10 to 40 degree C.

Near Infrared (NIR) analyser is used as a cost-effective means of measuring product or process consistency and quality control parameter in organic chemical-related or food industries.

Although many people believe that there is only one basic welding application, there are actually many different applications involved with welding. One of these areas is the stud welding process, where a bolt or formed nut is welded onto another metal piece. This process may include using stud welding equipment to automatically feed the bolts into the spot welder.

Shearing is the process of applying a high pressure tool through a metal plate and removing a part of the metal. Examples of shear machining are punching machines, like those that make small discs, and blanking machines, that make washers and other small items. Shear machining is different from the direct tool ordinary machining. In the ordinary tool machining, a single or multiple point tool is used to remove the cut metal from the metal sheet or block.

When the word "multitasking" is applied to machine tools, the term generally refers to a machine that is capable of both turning and milling. That definition is fine as far as it goes. However, turning and milling are two fairly similar operations. They both use a cutting edge to make a chip, and they both occur at roughly the same stage in a production process. If the argument for multitasking has to do with reducing both the delay and the potential for error that come from transporting parts between different machines, then that argument gains strength if the multitasking machine can combine operations that are even further removed from one another in the production process.

Once they were one of the largest groups of skilled employees in the whole country, and formed the backbone of one of the biggest and most important industries in the UK. They were respected throughout the world, and their skills were in great demand globally because of this. Nowadays however, their numbers are in such decline that if they were an animal, they would surely be on a list of endangered species.

The article is about the importance of the thermal profiler in the business of the wave soldering. It shows how the use of the thermal profiler can affect the quality and the consistency of the product manufactured by you. Among the different process involved in the wave soldering process thermal profiling is one of the most important processes which can affect the wave soldering process to a great extent. Thermal profiling is one of the most important processes which should be performed very carefully so as to make the production of the printed circuit board good in quality.
