Someone had seriously said that once a baby is born, a new mom is also born. Yes it is true, and a woman's best moment in life is when she gets pregnant and experiences the wonders of creation and life-giving, especially if it is her first.

Lesser known Joys of Pregnancy

From the moment a baby is conceived, a whole new world of experiences and changes occurs in a woman's body. Pregnancy really is a roller coaster ride. The changes that happen are not all pleasant, there are also moments of anxiety, doubt and fear.

But no matter what the situation or circumstance, a woman's pregnancy is always a reason to celebrate. All those unpleasantness in the first trimester, the weight of the growing baby, the amazing fact that a child is growing with in and the efforts of labor, is all worth it once the baby is born.

Notice that a lot of people seem a bit more lenient, pampering and understanding to pregnant women. Subconsciously, this must be everyone's way of sharing and celebrating the joys of pregnancy. It might be the simple things that people around you do for you like holding the door for you or offering you their seats. Independent women may be annoyed at these gestures, but really you have to enjoy it as you can.

While pregnant, you must also enjoy all the attention you get even if they're all commenting on your enormous belly or if they keep give you advise on child rearing. While you are the bringer of life, you glow with excitement and get that sheen of sweat from carrying that weight around. Though some things can be quite irritating, revel on those little things that you do for yourself and your soon to be born baby. While waiting on those long nine months, you'd shop for little clothes, and spend hours decorating the nursery.

Anticipation is really something when you wait nine months to get hold of your little nudger and kicker. Those wiggles inside you will surely be on of the things you'll miss once your baby is out in the world. The wait may seem like eternity but it sure is one of the most promising wait a woman will ever have - so savor it and enjoy it.

Miracles of Giving Birth

After the long nine months of mixed emotions and anticipation, comes the dreaded part - labor and giving birth. Pregnancy and birth experiences differ from woman to woman. You should not expect that the experiences that you've read will also be the same for you. Each birthing experience is unique for every woman. Pregnancy really is a miracle that unfolds when a woman is about to give birth. Your doctor is only there to assist you, but know that your body knows the process even if it's your first baby. And once you finally have the baby out - congratulate yourself for a job well done, mom!

Having a new baby at home is the extension of your happiness while you were still pregnant. Though the attention may no longer be centered to you as the new mom, be proud that you had been able to carry that cute little thing that everyone is now crazy about. Learn things along with your baby, enjoy discovering new things and enjoy your little bundle as long as you can. You will soon discover when your little bundle becomes a toddler that motherhood is more than just pregnancy and giving birth. So enjoy it while you can and never miss out a moment of it.
