Diagnosis for psoriasis is mostly based upon the appearance of the skin. Though, a skin biopsy or scraping may be employed in order to rule out the possibility of psoriasis. There is no known cure for psoriasis till date, but psoriasis can be treated. The crux of the psoriasis treatment depends on the principle of reduction of the inflammation and retarding skin cell division which are traits of the disease.
