If you want to define shaggy haircuts then you should probably refer to messy looks. Shaggy haircuts became very famous a few decades ago, although they are getting back in vogue lately - especially since increasingly more people want to have a carefree and easy going look.

Shaggy haircuts are distinctive due to their multiple layers. These layers give a permanently cool look and require little maintenance. Many people with facial flaws also choose this kind of haircut, simply because layers tend to hide details such as pronounced cheekbones and they give an impression of a thin and balanced face. For guys, shaggy haircuts can enhance their chin and jaw line, which seems to be very cool and likeable.

You can find short shags, long or medium shags. In short shaggy style, hair is cut in such a way that frames the face, while the rear part ensures volume. In medium shags hair is cut in several layers and lengths, depending on the demand of the client. Usually the more layers the more light the hair is. Fewer layers give a rather sleek overall look to the face.

In the case of long shags it is recommended to keep fewer layers because otherwise hair looks relatively ragged and heavy. Long shags are quite easy to trim and change and they are ideal for both round and angular faces, as they can balance the facial features creating a smoother result.

If you are trying to figure out which style is better for you, you should consider your face style as well, since long shags can soften angles or even enhance a round face and make it look better, while the shorter hair can give you a more rounded result, if you have pronounced cheekbones and angular features.

The secret of good wedding hair is to be well prepared beforehand. Don't get your hair cut and coloured just before your wedding day, hairs needs at least a week to settle into it. Choosing the right hairstyle for your wedding involves an evaluation of the pros and cons of each option. If you don't regularly go to a hair stylist that specializes in weddings, choose one that comes highly recommended.
Now, First of all, What is Hair Made of? Hair is composed primarily of proteins (88 per cent). These proteins are of a hard fibrous type known as keratin. Keratin protein is comprised of what we call "polypeptide chains." The word, polypeptide, comes from the Greek word "poly" meaning many and "peptos" meaning digested or broken down. In essence, if we break down protein, we have individual amino acids.
If you want to create a special and dramatic look for that special occasion, the last thing you want to do is look like a cookie-cutter Barbie doll when it comes to your hairstyle. And the truth is that many of your formal hairstyles were probably just that, exact replicas of styles that were worn on every special occasion for years stretching back into time. But it doesn't have to be that way. You can create a different and exciting new updo for each and every formal occasion even if you only know how to do one type of formal hairstyle.
Hair is one of the most important things about you. It is the first thing other people pay attention to. Even your image depends on your hairstyle and healthy look of your hair. Your hair is also the first to response to any health problems. That's why you should reply to the hair problems at hand as quickly as possible. When you lack time for yourself, it is clearly obvious. However, if you treat your hair with care, it pays you back constantly by attracting attention.
Prom occasions are always the topic of the season. We usually have at least one prom occasion, party, or night out to look forward to every month. Life would be dull and joyless without weddings, birthdays, formal occasions, and friends' parties that take our thoughts away from everyday routine and create good mood for the rest of the month.
Think you are having a bad hair day? Maybe it's not a new hair style, maybe all your hair needs is some of its lost moisture. Hair conditioning helps moisturize your hair and make it shiny and hydrated. Regular shampooing can cause dryness and aggravate dandruff for some. Conditioning ensures that the moisture is not lost and hair becomes lustrous and silky.
There are 2 heat styling methods to straighten your hair: blow drying straightening and flat iron straightening. The argument that blow drying straightening is better than flat ironing straightening is partially invalid, because blow drying can still increase the temperature of your hair significantly.
