Site-Wide Links May Not Bring Magical Results

There are some packages presented on the web by some webmasters and SEO companies that involve creating hundreds of one way links from a certain website to another one. The procedure is usually called the site-wide links pack because the links are placed on every single page of the websites and therefore, according to the number of the pages of websites, you can have one way links.

But do you believe this procedure is really great for the proper optimization of the websites? In other words, do you consider having such links will be creating huge success for the websites receiving them? There are some arguments among webmasters and the SEO people in this regard but one thing is certain and that is such link building programs and exercises are not seen online as natural.

You know, search engines are very wise and can detect whether or not a link has been created in a natural way or not and therefore, when they see that suddenly, a website is giving out site-wide links to another web portal, well, they might get a bit suspicious, don't you think so? Please note that at many times, the site-wide links are primarily used for web traffic and this is absolutely ok using them.

There are many advertising programs and campaigns offered online by the companies involving adding site-wide links for adding to the websites traffic but such links are usually not direct ones and not counted by the search engines and as mentioned, are basically made for the sake of increasing traffic trends to certain participating websites and there is nothing wrong using them.

The red flags might be raised when hundreds or even thousands of one way, direct links that are all site-wide, are being added a website overnight. Search engines can easily tell that such link building scheme does not look like a natural process and therefore might do some things. For example, they might completely disregard the links as being not valuable or even lower the sites rankings.

Please note that links are to be added naturally to websites and not in an artificial manner and the site-wide links might not be that great when you are considering boosting your websites rankings in the search engines. If there was only one link from the links sources created in a natural way, it might be much better than adding a link on every page as such links may not bring magical results.

Site-wide links are usually placed at the footer sections of the websites, although sometimes you might see them at other spots on web pages such as the sidebars or at the top parts. Please note that although they are being counted apparently as thousands of links, but since they are coming from a single domain name and web source, so they might actually be regarded as only one single link.

Sometimes it might be tempting to use the site-wide links because you might assume they will create really big improvements in your websites rankings on the web but by looking at many websites that are already among the top ten placements in the search engines, you can find the majority of them not having such site-wide links and having got there in a natural optimization way.
