The 6 Network Marketing Rules

Frustrated and stuck, not being able to move your MLM home based business forward? You hear everywhere about success and great profits, financial freedom and passive income, yet those things don't seem to pass near you at all, let alone reach you. Then you start wondering “am I doing anything wrong?”.

Well, the first thing you should check is whether you are following the 6 rules for building a successful multi-level marketing business. Rules that when followed separate the average marketer from the superstars who make all the money.

They are simple and efficient and here they are:

1. Educate Yourself.

The foremost important rule is that you have to keep reading and learning all the time. There is not a plateau that you can reach and thereafter stop acquiring new knowledge without that having any consequences to your business. If you stop growing as a person your business would stop, too, and decline would follow.


2. Know your product and how your opportunity works.

Needless to say that these two things are essential when you are making a presentation to a prospect or when you design your advertising campaigns. If you don't know that basic information you'll end up to not be taken seriously from your prospects since you would be unable to answer their questions. Furthermore you may end up advertising to the wrong people, a market segment that you cannot connect to the product or the opportunity.


3. Set Goals.

Goals are like your destination on a map. Without having written goals you are just like a traveler that is wandering around without knowing where he wants to go. It may sound fun and adventurous that kind of travel but one thing is sure, it won't get you nowhere. At least not where you were dreaming of.


4. Listen to your sponsor.

Like you, he's been where you are now and knows the best route that you should take to start seeing results with your efforts. He learned, sometimes through the hard way by trying and failing, sometimes from his sponsor, but nevertheless he is capable now to guide you and advise you. You should treat him like your personal business coach and mentor and rest assure that he has great incentive to help you as part of his income depends on your success.


5. Spend time with like-minded people.

It is essential that you should socialize with success oriented people like you. People that want to achieve more in their lives and make a difference in this world. People determined to do whatever it takes to get there and make their dreams reality. With them you can share your dreams without fear that they would laugh at you, on the contrary they would support and encourage you to pursue them as they already do themselves.


6. Move into Action.

Don't sit and wait until you learn more things or feel more comfortable. There is no right time to start working for your business. The earlier you start the better. Don't let fear hold you back, accept that mistakes are a part of the whole process and try to learn from them. It's sad to see many distributors stay outside of the game and they just watch and hope that things would improve on their own.

Don't follow their example. Just get in the field and start playing. You cannot learn Network Marketing only from the books, you have to practice it in order to improve your skills.
