When people consider Mexico homes for sale, Tulum real estate is not usually the first market that comes to mind; in Tulum, land generally gets the most attention with some attention placed on condos. Yet, Tulum homes for sale are an attractive and viable option for enjoying a relaxing lifestyle and seeing good investment potential.
To start off, let's imagine what the home itself would be like; the home would probably be Mexican-ranch style bungalow or two story home with 3 or 4 bedrooms, a beautiful open-concept design, luxury finish, large windows to enjoy the surrounding scenery, a spacious, modern kitchen, and, generally, very appealing to see and comfortable to live in. Such a home may be sold furnished or unfurnished.
As far as the property is concerned, imagine lots of space - a wide, open lawn with decorative shrubbery, a large swimming pool, a shaded lounge area with a permanent built in barbeque and bar. While the details change, of course, the idea remains the same; comfortable outdoor living in your own private space right in your very own yard.
Since Tulum's weather is beautifully warm all year round, it makes it easy to enjoy this kind of living, all day, every day! But owning a Tulum home is more than just your own property. Chances are you will be a walk away from the current town center of Tulum. This area includes local restaurants and nice shops selling handicrafts and artwork.
There are also some basic services such as the new Walmart and similar stores. As Tulum grows, more such services are also appearing. The other feature very important to life in Tulum is the beachfront. There is little residential real estate development directly on Tulum's beachfront, so a home which you buy will probably be a bike ride or away.
Driving access is also convenient and easy. In this context, a home in Tulum is a good investment. Currently there are few homes on the market. As the community grows, and increasing tourism brings increased demand for homes in the area, the few existing homes will have an advantage on the market due to excellent location and the fact that they are ready to use.
