The main draw of Bow Lake, Washington is water sports. In fact this is a private lake built for the sole purpose of water sports. The surrounding businesses provide you with lodging from April until November. Whether novice or professional, whether a kneeboarder or a water skier you can find the activity, the rental supplies or the training you need to have fun on this lake. Consider some of the most popular water sports that can be enjoyed on this lake.

Skiing has long been a popular water activity in many countries. Water skiing is best done on water that is unaffected by wave motion. Bow Lake, Washington has been specifically designed to give water skiers the water they need. You can bring your own boat and supplies or rent them once you get there.

Wake boarding came about by combining water skiing, snow boarding and surfing. The length of Bow Lake, Washington allows boats to get up to speed so wake boarders can get large wakes to perform any types of stunts they like. There are also a number of ramps and various stunt items to use in this lake.

Your family can take a vacation at this lake and take lessons in whatever water sport interests you. Every summer this lake is full of individuals of all experience levels. For those who like to spend a day of adventure on the water there is no better lake to visit.

Bow Lake was designed specifically for the water sport crowd. So there isn't much else here for those who prefer calmer activities such as swimming or house boating. But you can give the water sports a try and maybe find something new that you enjoy doing. You should make reservations early since this is a popular summer recreation spot that fills up quickly. You won't be disappointed by the boating experience you have once you arrive. In fact, you probably won't want to leave once you get here. It may even become your favorite summer vacation spot.

It was a clear, warm summer afternoon on Lake Chaubunagungamaug in Webster, Massachusetts. Like many of you, I have my favorite BBQ meal (Ribs) and favorite Baseball team (Tampa Bay Rays) and of course my favorite beaches (St. Petersburg-Belleair); but who has a favorite bug?
