Do you like extravagant, out of this world gaz guzzling off road vehicles capable of tackling just about any challenge you give it? If so, then the Hummer H2 is definitely the car for you. The successor to the it’s larger H1 Alpha sister model, the Hummer H2 has a 6.2 litre engine and 6 speed automatic transmission.

Designed from the outset like it’s compatriot to create a great and lasting first impression the Hummer H2 is slightly less imposing that it’s Hummer H1 Alpha sister model, but it is imposing none the less.

Four by four wheel drive cars like the Range Rover, BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne and Range Rover Sport and large and imposing by their very nature; the Hummer H2 is just ridiculous.

Forget the elevated seating position and view of its rival four wheel drive cars like the Porsche Cayenne, the Range Rover and the BMW X5, the view and feeling you’ll get from driving the Hummer H2 or any hummer for that matter will be extreme.

From a practical point of view, hang on a minute there is nothing practical about the Hummer H2. The Hummer H2 is a big car so realistically you could pack in the kids, the shopping and your golf clubs, and maybe your husband or wife too. Practically speaking the only problems you may face are the jaw dropping experience you get in the petrol station when paying for a full tank and trying to find a parking space big enough to parallel park the car.

On the road and delivered direct to your door for a shade under £49,000 the hummer H2 fuel consumption (miles per gallon) in urban area at just 12.1 could bring a tear to your eye but then again if you can’t afford to fill it full of petrol and drive it at your leisure that don’t bother buying it.

The Hummer H2 comes with a host of optional extras including a third row of seats, a review view camera system (something which might be a good idea) which you might just need to reverse the monster, as well as black or metallic paint options.

Just a word of advice though, if you are thinking of buying the car then it may be advisable to get some added security for your house as well. When you’ve got an expensive car like a H2 or any other four by four wheel driver car thieves tend to pay attention.

Seriously though, if you’re interested in off road driving then this is definitely the car to consider. If the price tag is putting to off there will be plenty of finance options available including part exchange, hire purchase, contract hire or lease hire. Finance options typically involve paying a deposit up front and the balance of load in monthly instalments varying from three to seven and sometimes even 7 years. There are numerous advantages to purchasing a Hummer H2 this way including, the main one being the fact that you do not have to layout huge amounts of cash at the outset.

Automakers are clamoring to build and market cars to the Generation "Y" crowd which, loosely defined, and encompasses new drivers and mostly everyone who is under 30. Toyota threw the gauntlet down in 2003 when they introduced a line of cars under the Scion brand. Now, Nissan is responding and the Versa - to be released during the summer of 2006 - is their answer. Will the Versa compete successfully or be lost in a sea of Gen "Y" vehicles soon to flood the market? All of that is too early to determine, so let's take a look at the Versa and what the car has to offer to motorists.
Do you remember when was the last time you looked in your trunk? Statistics have it that the trunk is oftentimes one of the most neglected parts and areas of a vehicle. Also, it is in fact one of the most overlooked and mostly taken for granted parts. Remember that for most of your car's lifetime, you only remember the trunk when you need to put or get something out of it.
Over all my years of driving the one thing that still causes me the most concern is when I hear a new noise. This drives me particularly crazy every spring. After months of having the windows rolled up it's very disconcerting when you first roll down the window to get a whiff of that fresh springtime air and you start hearing all those noises you car makes, and perhaps has been making all winter long. Then you start to think "what's that noise?", "how long has it been doing that?"
