Making a woman aware of the potential side effects of menopause could help them become pro active and in a way prevent them from a few of them. However, each woman experiences different problems during this period. Some of them do not even face a single problem while others face a host of problems.

Most of the woman in their menopause gain body weight due to accumulation fat near the stomach which maybe as a result of hormonal imbalance. Decreased libido, vaginal dryness and irregular periods may result as well because of menopause. Exercising ensures that you sweat a lot and thereby makes your body temperature right. Another adverse affect which is caused due to menopause is loss of considerable amount of bone mass which is commonly known as osteoporosis. Usually it begins with 1% loss in the first year and increases to 2-3% in the coming years. Osteoporosis is one of the problems which often go unnoticed until the time a fracture happens in your body. In order to counter osteoporosis, doctors recommend regular exercise which produces the required calcium for your bones thereby making them strong. Therefore you might say that most of the problems occurred during menopause can be done away by exercising for about 10-15 minutes regularly.

Some of the other problems that you might face during the menopause are heart disorders and improper blood circulation. For countering heart disorders a woman must practice some cardiac exercises regularly. An improper blood circulation can cause major changes in your mood; therefore, it becomes essential to get rid of this problem by exercising daily. This will not only improve your blood circulation but will also lower your blood pressure thereby making you feel fresh. Apart from this, women must have a proper diet which includes lots of fruits and green vegetable that gives her the strength and immunity to fight these effects.

Apart from physical effects, menopause also happens to affect your mentally, causing distress, and depression. A woman must take proper care of her during this period, and must get rid of depression as early as possible because it may be really harmful in the years to come. Most of the effects caused by menopause can be done away with regular exercising; however, there maybe some which would require medicinal treatment. More than anything else, having a positive frame of mind and remaining happy can help you move out from this stage very easily. Hormone replacement therapy can also help you combat the problems, but these therapies usually have some side effects and not much recommended. Creams, herbs and other homeopathic medicines that do not cause any side effect can also be taken on prescription from a doctor.
