Are you searching for a purpose to your life? Well, let me ask you a question: "Do you know what makes you tick?" It seems an easy question, is not it? But many of us, we are already so out of our hearts, and identities that we do not even know what makes us more excited.
I'm sure everyone can relate to that time in life when the obstacles seemed too overwhelming. Life is full of turmoil and difficulty. Life has ups, downs and sideways. In today's column I want to give you hope that there is joy in the midst of difficulties. There is a point where you can get hope and happiness, even with the load you can spend. Always know that behind the angry clouds that we see is a brilliant sun that pierced the darkness and shine through.
If you were to watch a woman being robbed, what would you do? Jump in and help, call the police or nothing at all? A lot of you hate questions like these because you feel there is no right answer or that it is somehow a trick question. The result is that many choose a different answer depending on how they feel, not what they think is right. Truly, if you don't have a consistent answer, you don't have a consistent set of values and principles in your life.
Our life is full of successes and setbacks. There will be times that you achieve great things, and you find that your life feels purposeful and blessed. Then there are times that you hit setbacks, and your energy is focused on bad habits, anger, regret and sadness.
In a previous article, I started to explain a very basic introduction to what life coaching is. Today, we'll discuss the differences between life coaching and counseling and how life coaching is a great choice for people just like you that need that extra bit of support.
It all started September of 2006. I had just begun a relationship with the woman that was to eventually become my loving, perfect wife. I met her in Toronto at a wedding, and we were enjoying a long distance relationship since lived in Saskatoon, Canada.
The most important part of life is to live without regret, which is directed to the main values of life. Fifty years from now, when you look back on your decision and your accomplishments, you must be willing to say to yourself that every choice you made was worth it. You must know the shadow of a doubt that every decision that you used was based on what really matters to you most.
We have the power to lift someone or bring them down. Through the words that have the power to give or take someone, or yourself. We have the power of our words to build a faith or destroy it. We can encourage people and make a constructive and lasting difference in their lives. We have an incredible influence just saying a few kind words. A smile and a friendly "Hello" can make the difference between that people all day. Our vision of life changed the words we say.
All of us are aware of the fundamental principles and values that constitute the human experience. Values such as character and courage are the heart of a good man, and the essence of leading a respectable life. We know these values. Yet, often cite the example of them. We often do not practice these values. When you see something wrong with the world, how often to take upon yourself to change it? How many times have you lied in order to come out ahead and took responsibility for their mistakes?
Emptiness is a terrible feeling. It is the act of being free - the lack of something in your life makes you feel like a part of you is missing. Emptiness can occur in many different ways. You can feel yourself missing: Material goods/wealth; Social support; Emotional health; Happiness.
