Wi-Fi Gets Personal with Intel My WiFi Technology

Posted by Answers Community

Wi-Fi has given us the freedom to connect to other computers and the Internet without wires. Now it’s spreading into all kinds of consumer electronic (CE) devices — MP3 players, digital cameras, printers and projectors. One of the laptops needs to be set up as an ‘Ad Hoc’ network, it will act as a router so the otherlaptop will connect to it..

lol this video is misleading, i though the centrino 2 can do miracle but until i saw another video. where they actually says “wifi certified device” but in this video the woman says “any consumer product” this is just intel wifi infomercial. simple put intel wifi can do ad hoc and infrustr mode at the same time. too bad my mp3 players, my phones, and my digital camera dont have wifi.
