man, there is a lot of painful stuff happening to women thank god im healthy!!=)
I had a lumpectomy 2 years ago, and it was one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced, although that had to do with the fact that the painkillers I was given didn’t work. The tumour was benign, thankfully. Unfortunately the wound didn’t heal well, plus there is another lump in the same spot, so I am getting lined up for surgery again.
I am a 35 y.o. single mother and currently have breast cancer in my RT breast and am awaiting a full body PET scan so that my oncologist can determine if chemo is needed prior to the surgery. I have multiple lumps in both breasts, and although my left breast lumps are not cancer, I have opted to have both breasts removed. I am living a nightmare, and each day I pray that I will wake up from this! I HATE CANCER. Please pray that a cure will be found quickly, to spare others this fate.

ooww..
Oh my God, me too! XD
It’s only instinctive.
sorry I’m not really knowledgable on the subject, but after a mastectomy, does the patient usually get an implant to match the other breast or just kinda go w/ having one? I’m just wondering.
they can but more often women then get brassiers that are extra padded on one side..
oh that makes sence haha thanks [:
After mastectomy, the patient can choose to have a breast reconstruction where surgeons fill the cavity with silicone implants (which is customized to match the size of the other breast) and patch it up using flesh from other parts of the patient’s body. So breast cancer patients usually do not need to end up with only one side of the breast after mastectomy.
oh, that’s informative, thanks!
well my friends g-ma had mastectomy,But they wouldent let her get and implant so there getting her a fake breast to match the other.Hope that answers your ??
Yeah, thanks! I’m gettin a lot of dif answers so apparently there’s lots of ways of going about this mastectomy business
a friend of mine said that she had implants after healing and then had to go in to get her nipples tattooed also, I’m guessing she lost her entire breasts (she lost both of them)
dats kinda werid
I’ll pray for you. Miracles can happen, just hold onto Him. Prayers can move mountain.
ppl think they can do it after seeying this video but not only those things are shown when doing the operation… you have many delecate nerves surrounding the breast tissue and limphnotes… idk if i spelled that right.. my mother had this dont she had the limphnotes dones (once again i do not know if that was spelled right) and the whole breadt removed so that the cancer would not return.
my mother is having reconstructive surgery in August and the same removal had happened to her.. She got everything removed so that is would not come back.
anyone faced with breast cancer should know the latest data on vitamin D. Take a look a vitaminD3world. It has some good summaries of the data, a good newsletter and has recently launched a new micro pill formulation of vitamin D
This just kills me.
Having to remove your ‘womanly figure’ because you have a tumor.
