Is decaffeinated coffee bad for you?

Posted by Answers Community

My doctor tells me to not drink regular coffee but to drink decaffeinated coffee. Some people tell me that the method used to remove the caffein is done with chemicals that also stay in the coffee.

Is that also true when the coffee says naturally decaffeinated?

Yes, it's bad for you. Regular coffee is bad for you too but for different reasons.

Everything is bad for you, or so I hear.

And naturally decaffeinated is also bad for you but for different reasons than regular decaffeinated.

Keep drinking coffee though. There are studies saying it's good for you.
