Are companies required to support electronic products for a certain number of years?

Posted by Answers Community

In the United States, are companies required to support electronic products, or any type of products for that matter, for a certain number of years? By support I mean either through product support or even supplying spare parts. If so, does this also apply to Connecticut. The best answer should include a citation to your source!

no, they are not required to support them at all beyond any warranty period, they do so only in response to market demands.
