There are many things in life that we take for granted. When is the last time you were truly thankful for air, water or even a warm meal? For many people, our lives are so full of blessing that we forget about all of the simple things that make our lives to much easier and better. I recently thought about just how different our lives would be without one simple thing: chairs.
Many of you have heard the term 'chronic fatigue' I am sure. Far fewer of you probably know the technical, medical knowledge about the disease. While I could share with you page after page, hour after hour of information on chronic fatigue, I think it is more appropriate to share just how deeply chronic fatigue has affected my life.
If you are looking to move from one location to another there are many, many things to consider. Perhaps there are too many details to think about. You are probably trying to think about places you want to be, what kind of house you want to live in, what kinds of jobs are available, and what kinds of activities and clubs there are to spend time doing away from work. These are all important things to consider before you commit to a move.
There are so many things to be learned about the world. Take a library for example. Think about how many different subjects there are to be studied and learned through the books on the library shelves. You could start reading a book today and still be reading months or years from now. Or consider how much you could learn about something as simple as your favorite flower.

Losing someone you love is never easy. When my beloved mother passed away last fall I wasn't sure how I would find the strength to go on. So many of my greatest memories were filled with the beauty and grace of my mom. It was wonderful to be supported by so many friends and family at the funeral, but ended up being the sympathy cards that I received in the mail everyday for weeks afterward that gave me the strength to keep living.
Preventing a heart attack should be one of the things that concerns you most. After all, heart disease and heart attacks are some of the leading causes of death among people these days. I love my home. Every single room in it has provided me and my family with special memories. I love all of the funny conversations that have happened around the dining room table and the late night talks that have happened in each of my children's bedrooms. I have enjoyed cooking great meals in my kitchen and watching my favorite movies in our family room. Perhaps my most favorite place, however, is our front porch.
