I have loved art for as long as I can remember. As a child I spent hour after hour doing art projects of all kinds with my mother and my siblings. We would paint, practice sewing or create things out of clay for hours on end. I never knew that the amount of art projects we worked on was abnormal until I got a bit older and heard all of my friends and school talking about their years of playing with trucks and action figures or being outside building forts.
I am not always a huge fan of parody as a means of comedy, but when my high school advanced drama class suggested to me that we create a parody of our high school and then perform it for the end of the year production, I had to take their idea seriously and consider it. It took me a few days to get through the details of the idea, but I determined that it would be a great project for our class to create every aspect of our spring play rather than perform one that has already...
Expert Author: Martin Stoleman | Category: Software There are a few things in life that everyone simply needs. I'l be the first to agree that we use the word "need" far too often when really we are probably wanting something rather than truly needing it. I believe strongly that everyone needs clean water, adequate food, proper medical care and a safe place to live and sleep. I will not say, however, that everyone in the world needs to drive an expensive sports car or go on vacation four times a year.
I have always been smitten with the smallest things in life. In fact, even as a kid I remember being fascinated with small things and with finding beauty in places that most people ignored. So when it came time to purchase a home for me and my own family, there were naturally so many detail things that I was concerned about.
Expert Author: Martin Stoleman | Category: Ecards I love technology. I love all of the ways that technology has made my life easier and more simple. I guess I'm a guy that likes things as uncomplicated as possible, so that is in fact why I have come to treasure the gift that the internet truly is. There are so many ways that the internet has affected my life that I'm not sure where to begin. I guess I'll share that the internet has affected my relationships immensely and hence my life is different too.
When I was graduating from high school and then from college, there were many details that I was trying to think through and many decisions that I was trying to make, not the least of which was what graduation song I would choose to represent my transition from one season of life to the next. You see, among my family and friends it is tradition for anyone graduating to choose a graduation song to be sort of the theme of their accomplishment and their place in life.
You might be surprised to learn that many, many people have still not caught the bug and gone celluar. So I write not to shock anyone, but instead to provide a few reasons why people should really consider getting on board with a cellular phone.
Being a realtor is the perfect job for me. Why? Because I am passionate about seeing people live in parts of our country and the world that they love, and I care that people feel totally comfortable and at ease in their home. So I love being a realtor and getting to work closely with people at making their dreams of owning a home come true. I've been a realtor in many locations, but I am currently working in the Atlanta real estate market.
In many ways, I have never been much of a student, especially if you are talking about being a student within the confines of a classroom. I've always loved learning, don't get me wrong, but get me inside a classroom for months on end and there is little that can be done to keep me interested in even the most fascinating subjects. I have no real idea how I managed to make it through four years of college.
It has been my privilege over the past twenty years to travel to many parts of the globe. When I was hired to be a traveling photojournalist for a popular travel magazine, I had no real idea what kind of life lay ahead of me. I never really expected to spend weeks on an African safari or climbing the Great Wall of China. I guess I sort of expected that my job would take me to places like Kansas and Canada.
Isn't it strange how there are some things from childhood that you don't miss and that you'll probably never do again and then how there are things that you loved so much you would still do them everyday as an adult if you could? Well, I've been missing the strangest things from childhood lately, I'll admit it. For example, I've been missing some of the games that my siblings and I used to entertain ourselves with as young children.

Expert Author: Martin Stoleman | Category: CRM As a consultant for people who are considering starting their own small business, I naturally have many things to share with people. Once we have talked through the logistics and the finances that are necessary in starting a business, I quickly move into talking about the keys to running a successful business.
I love nothing more than sitting down with someone or a family of people and helping them to plan their next vacation. Why? Well, a few reasons I guess. First, I love to go on vacation. I have loved travel for as long as I can remember, so I love infecting other people with the travel bug. I also love helping people plan trips because I know that life is short and I believe that it was meant to be enjoyed.
As an interior designer, I always have my eyes peeled for the latest and greatest things for decorating homes and office spaces. I have a knack for detail and a knack for making mis-matched things come together, so interior design is the perfect job for me. One of my favorite things to watch for and to encourage my clients to watch for is any art for sale. You really have to keep a good eye out for art for sale.
I am one of those people that always gets a little board when I drive. I love to be in the car, but I get a little ansy when I have nothing other than driving to do. Being in the car with friends or family is great because then we can share good conversation, but I don't always have people in the car with me. I recently took a long road trip across most of the country. It sounds crazy, but I actually drove from Virginia to Oregon and back for a project I was working on.
There are nearly endless career possibilities in this day and age. Almost any childhood dream could be turned into an actual profession it seems. As a career counselor, you might be amazed to learn how many adults in our society of option after option really have little or no idea of what kind of career is best for them. I meet with clients all the time who are dazed and confused with too many options and no real clue of what kinds of jobs fit them best.

If you are lucky enough to have a bar in or near your kitchen, then you know what a useful place a bar can be. Those who live without a bar don't know the way that it adds space and seating options and the way it allows families to gather for short or long times in a setting more informal than at the dining room table.
