We all get stuck in a rut once in awhile, and need help extricating ourselves. If you lack motivation, or just can't seem to get started on a project, do what I do in these 10 steps to get motivated again. Do you have a list of goals and desires that have yet to be fulfilled? Do you find yourself generating exciting new ideas only to find that you lose the motivation to complete them shortly after you get started? Perhaps you talk yourself out of that great new idea even before you even begin to pursue it.
Whether you realize it or not, the way you choose to spend your day is ultimately a trade off. If that’s the same way you feel, ask yourself one question: "What is the one thing that I want most in my life?". Now imagine meeting a wizard that could make your wish come true only if you quit smoking. Would you be able to quit then? Of course you would!
At times we all find it so difficult to go on when everything seems to fail, isn't it? Are there times in your life when you really want to call it "quits" because you just can't see any good results from all the hard work you've done? So what are we to do at times like these? How do we cope? Never ever think of giving up. Winners never quit and quitters never win as the old saying goes. Take all negative words out of your mental dictionary and be aware of what you are saying at all times, focus on the solutions with utmost conviction and patience.
Self-Care is far different from self-centeredness... learn to support... spiritual, psychological, physical and energetic aspects of your whole being...to manage your time and balance your life. Self-Care is unavoidably a daily practice. No amount of rest, passion or acts of service can substitute for it. True Self-Care is simply "enlightened self-interest and service for the higher good."
Being motivated is very important as it improves our way of living thus staying motivated is an integral part of life. Read this article to learn how you can inspire or motivate yourself.
