Re-mortgaging, has represented 49 per cent of mortgage business in January and February this year and is expected to grow further over the next quarter according to, Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA). Intermediaries now, expect to complete 2 per cent more re-mortgages, over the next two months and 72 per cent of lenders, expect that re-mortgages volumes will be higher or much higher over the next quarter.

Despite new rules to protect the UK's 11 million store card holders, analysis from money website, Fool.co.uk reveals that stores are still ripping off customers, with some charging almost 50 per cent more interest on their store cards than credit cards. The Competition Commission brought in new regulations, in May 2007 to govern the administration, of store cards that charge annual percentage rates (APRs) of 25 per cent or more. A total of 2,500 UK drivers, were put to the test to find out why two out of three accidents are caused on the roads. The survey and results, conducted by the comparison website, uSwitch.com, found that just 1 per cent of respondents, answered all questions correctly.
