When we go to a store many of us pay for our goods by cash if we don’t have our credit cards with us. We are very familiar with the different money values that we see regularly.

These days for the most part people will use a credit card to pay for just about anything that they buy. Recently I read an article in the newspaper about a robber who was upset when the bank would not cash his million dollar bill for smaller denominations that he could spend. The U. S. Department of Treasury has done a reevaluation of the currency and determined that the buying-power of the dollar bill is now the exact equivalent of what the buying power of a penny once was. As a result, it appears that the long-endangered penny has finally met its meltdown.
