Not if done correctly! Adolescent pregnancy in ninety nine percent of the cases is unwanted and is the major consequence of adolescent sexual activity, other than STDs. A study on the high school adolescents has concluded that forty eight percent of the males and forty five percent of the females are sexually active. Plainly put, anorexia is an eating disorder where a person starves himself or herself. Anorexia mainly affects adolescent girls. They have an intense fear of becoming fat. They think they are overweight, but in fact most anorexics weigh a full 15 per cent below their normal body weight. Anorexia strikes about 1 per cent of adolescent females.
