Home to Auburn University, Auburn is the fastest growing metropolitan area in Alabama. If you enjoy a college atmosphere, relocating to Auburn is an excellent choice.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum would be holding their very first Annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Benefit Extravaganza and as part of this event, the museum would be actually having a live automobile auction.

A metal or plastic crate, while not being the most beauteous item in your dog's paraphernalia, is definitely a necessity for most dog owners, especially the ones starting out with young puppies. Let's face it, though, a crate is generally downright ugly in a room that is otherwise attractive. So what can one do to improve the looks of one's home, yet still housebreak Fido?

Who was I rooting for in the Iron Bowl? Sorry, if I tell you, I'll have to kill you. Although I'm not a sports writer by trade, it would have been considered bad journalism if I had come out on the side of Alabama or Auburn before last Saturday's big game. But now that the Iron Bowl is over and the season is almost at its end, I can finally reveal which team I claim as my own.

Here in Alabama, there are three classes of people: Alabama Crimson Tide fans, Auburn Tiger fans, and atheists. Two of the three will go to Hell when they die. Which two depends entirely on who you ask. Those Alabamians who like football but have no particular team preference are called, "agnostics." It is the hope of the faithful that someday these poor, pathetic souls will purchase an Alabama jacket or be given an Auburn cap and thereby experience the joy of committing themselves to a particular team. Until then, they are considered social and recreational outcasts. To pray for them is all that we can do.

When the time comes to relocate, it makes sense to hire an experienced moving company. Expert movers will be able to take care of every detail when it comes to your relocation. You will need to ask the right questions to find out which professional moving company is the best fit for you. First of all, you need to figure out the overall cost and what each moving company charges for their services. You will want to find a moving company that will do a good job for a reasonable price.

You're looking at a house and counting the costs of the initial purchase, not to mention the mortgage and maintenance costs. It's natural to look at all the expenses and wonder if there's something you can skip for the sake of an extra few hundred dollars. In this article, I and Schrodinger's cat are going to explain why skipping the home inspection is not a good idea.

A loving mother of four is killed when a worker who had just pulled a double shift fell asleep on his way home.

There's nothing worse than looking at a 3 million dollar "architectural masterpiece" that has its electrical outlets in all the wrong places. Imagine you're browsing the listings and taking a tour of a gorgeous-on-the-outside house you wish you could afford, but there are lamp cords hanging all over the sunken living room and wires snaking along the walls of the 15-seat home theatre. Now I don't know about you, but when I spend 3 million dollars, I want a certain amount of style. I want good design.

Don't save now only to pay later with a condo unit. Sometimes low dues seem like a great deal, but they can mean future problems and expense for you if they mean lowered services and a smaller reserve. While you should definitely rethink a unit where you are assessed dues far in excess of what is needed for maintenance and future repairs, you should not choose a unit based on how low the dues are. Rather, find out what you are getting for your money and whether you're happy with this level of payment.

There's a lot of attention being given to eco-friendly homes, 'alternative' homes and other dwellings that are not your average single-family home. You can find lots of information on the Internet, in books and magazines. However, one thing you might have a fair amount of trouble finding is an institution that will finance your alternative home venture, especially in today's depressed economy. There have been a number of individuals who, when seeking financing, found that anything that wasn't a standard 'stick-built' house was automatically in no-man's land when it came to the 'free mortgage market'.

While working from home can be convenient, care should be taken that the workspace is as efficient and harmonious as possible. This eliminates stress and makes working much easier. It also promotes a harmonious intersection of work and home life. Where are you going to put your office? Is it going to have a room of its own or is it going to be a corner of your living room or bedroom? The more space you have, the more free you can be in designing, but a small space can also do very well to accommodate your work materials.

Alabama basketball tickets have been in demand recently, even though the overall sports scene in Tuscaloosa has been dominated by a certain football coach being hired amidst much fanfare. Even though the national spotlight has been on the gridiron, the Crimson Tide have been making an intense push to get back to the NCAA Tournament. Although Alabama is currently ranked in the polls, their spot in the "Big Dance" is not guaranteed at this point. Below we'll take a look at Alabama's qualifications to determine whether or not they'll be dancing next month.
