Biotechnology is one of the most important technologies made by man. This kind of technology has its own advantage and drawback for humankind. For so long as it is employed definitely, this advanced technology will surely bring benefits to everybody. Life science is another branch of science that talks about life as its name suggests. Biotechnology is also about life and everything living thing in this world. This is AKA genetic engineering. The concept of this genetic engineering send fear to some people. Actually, genetically treated foods have not been proved to create health danger.

Taking up a job in biotechnology means involving oneself in the development of new products and processes for the good of mankind and quality of life. Before one seriously considers a career in biotechnology, it is imperative to have extensive knowledge in biology, chemistry, and other life sciences.

A Master's of Science in Biotechnology no longer gets students the high- end jobs it used to - but a PhD does. Biotechnology, the science that applies the study of living organisms to engineering, technology and medicine, has become increasingly specialised over the last few years - and with it, so have the jobs.

If you're seeking a career in biotechnology, one thing is for certain ... the more education you have, the higher up you can go. The fact is, no matter where you wind up working, you will be surrounded by people with Ph.D.'s and medical degrees. Biotechnology is the integration of engineering and technology to the life sciences.

Biotechnologists frequently use microorganisms or biological substances to perform specific processes or for manufacturing. Examples include the production of drugs, hormones, foods and converting waste products.

Biotechnology, as the name suggest, is a combination of biology and technology that includes an array of subjects including mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, immunology, genetics, agriculture etc. In this field, bacteria or other biological substances such as enzymes and other living cells are used and a blend of various technologies are applied together on them for production of a specific product or for improving upon it.

A career in Biotechnology is very challenging and exciting. All those who are aspiring to be a biotechnologist, here’s a glimpse of what this career is about. First and foremost, it is an integration of engineering and technology to the life sciences. Things that make it interesting.

Roses are red. Yellow, Pink, White and even Orange., But have you ever heard of blue roses!? The quest for producing blue roses has been a holy grail to rose breeders for many years.
