Brainwave meditation is achieved by external stimulus (mostly sound signals) that matches the brainwave frequencies specific to deep meditation states. The brain is exposed (e.g. stereo headphones) to two different sound signals (binaural beats). Further on the brain integrates these signals in a process called brainwave entrainment (synchronization) with the differential frequency as the output.
