Brownstone is actually a type of stone formed from sand during the Triassic geological period 200 to 250 million years ago; due to its attractive red and brown colorations it was a popular material for buildings up until the early 20th century. In 1954, Andy Warhol, a renowned cat lover, published a series of 25 cat portraits in book form. He named his book "25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy." In the 1970s, Warhol 's interest with cats faded and his interest in dogs rose. He did a large number of paintings and drawings of his own pets and those of others.
