Prior to January 1, 2006, people purchasing hybrid vehicles were eligible to claim a significant tax deduction. Now they can claim a monstrously large tax credit.

The purchasing button is evidently fluctuating based on the recent statistics on vehicle purchases. New car sales are down on last year by just 1 percent making commercials 7 percent behind. Nonetheless, regardless of the fluctuations, Toyota continues to dominate in the sales.

Hybrid cars are environment friendly as it has 90 per cent fewer emissions. Scientists believe that hybrid cars do not contribute much on air pollution thus it reduces the possibility of global warming.
