Toyota's Camry, America's best selling automobile, is slated for a complete overhaul in time for the 2007 model year. One of the biggest changes for the model will be the incorporation of optional hybrid engine technology, a first for the Camry.

One of the newest in the batch 2007 hybrid car line up is the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid, the third in Toyota's Hybrid vehicles. The Camry hybrid boasts of a performance of a top notch six-cylinder engine with the fuel economy of a four-cylinder engine.

Hybrid cars are environment friendly as it has 90 per cent fewer emissions. Scientists believe that hybrid cars do not contribute much on air pollution thus it reduces the possibility of global warming.

The very first hybrid version of the very popular Toyota Camry has already been built and it has also already rolled off the Toyota Motors Corporation's manufacturing plant which is located in Kentucky. This plant took in the task of creating and producing such a vehicle over a year ago and they have just recently completed the challenge.

Prior to January 1, 2006, people purchasing hybrid vehicles were eligible to claim a significant tax deduction. Now they can claim a monstrously large tax credit.

Made with the utmost care and created using the best type of hybrid technology one can find, hybrid vehicles have sure become one of the top choices of consumers who are out in the market for a new vehicle. Of course, this is not surprising for people would surely want to spend less on gas but still be able to drive further.

Sure, the Toyota Motor Corporation's Toyota Camry has once again been recognized to be quite a remarkable car. This time, the recognition comes from the Motor Trend magazine and it gave the Toyota Camry the Car of the Year award for 2007.

Toyota proudly presented the Environment Media Awards - a star-studded event intended to create environmental awareness. In said event, the automaker heaved the curtain off its hybrid cars to boast its mounting commitment to the environment.

It was reported earlier that the 2007 Toyota Camry could break 450,000 sales in just a year. This record has been set by Chevy Impala way back in 1978. To assess Camry's potentials compared to Impala, Toyota has made a comeback for Camry.

The hottest-selling car in America is Toyota Camry. Said car is also Motor Trend Magazine's Car of the Year for 2007.

Hybrid vehicles have become more popular in the past few years, as drivers are constantly trying to find ways to save on gas costs. Pump prices have rocketed especially after the Iraq war in 2003, as the flow of oil supplies was disrupted. Ever since that year, gas remains expensive and continues to rise due to market turbulence, high demand and conflicts in the Middle East.

Hybrid vehicles are becoming more and more popular as the cost of gas continues to rise. The problem is, they really are not the best decision financially. Hybrids do provide a benefit to the environment in that they do not use as much gas as a conventional vehicle, but they do not save you money in most cases.
